Specifications

Standard models of Thermally formed Continuous Vault skylights have the following specifications: A 41mm (1 5/8") & 100mm (4") wide curb; A choice of a clear or white (translucent) single acrylic dome OR a clear outer dome and a clear (white translucent) inner dome for double dome selection.

The frame is 6063-T5 mill finished extruded aluminum alloy (No-Frost) complete with cross-band dome supports and resilient gaskets. The supports (also in aluminum) are spaced approximately 1219 mm (48") from center to center. Overall length of the unit is shown on the diagram.

Continuous cold-formed domes

Specifications

Cold formed continuous skylights can be ordered in sizes and type as shown on the diagram below. They are built with a 100mm (4") wide curb. Choose between a clear or white (translucent) single acrylic dome OR a clear outer dome and a clear (white translucent) inner dome (double dome).

The frame is 6063-T5 mill finished extruded aluminum alloy (No-Frost)supported by pre-arched aluminum mullions with resilient gaskets. The mullions are spaced approximately 1219 mm (4'0") from center to center. The vault is completed by vertical acrylic end panels (90 degrees).

Continuous cold formed skylights are manufactured on a custom basis. Any length and any width up to 3.35 m (11'0") for the outside curb dimension may be specified.

Vault Skylight Warranty & Characteristics

--All vault skylights carry a 5 year warranty (at minimum) from manufacturing and material defects.

--are built in conformance with the Canadian government specifications CGSB 63-14-M89. Standard.
--All acrylic dome vaults are engineered to meet the National Building code live load requirements.
--They also satisfy fire code requirements when tested in accordance with ULC-S-102.2.
-materials are proven to resist discolouration and hazing, and even loss of strength.
This was proven by our products after more than 25 years of successful outdoor use.
-Our positive curb frame seal stops wind, rain, snow and dust.
-Pliability of the seal permits free expansion of acrylic during atmospheric changes.
-Low conductivity of acrylic resists the formation of condensation.
-They act as a passive solar heating system. The increase in daylight transmission results in savings on heating and electricity
